horsemouth has met this problem before. there is no 0720 bus on a saturday - there's no bus until 0920. last time he beat it by walking to pontrilas (to go see alula down in malvern), this time he's just going to have the day 2 hours late.
he should still make east ham by 4pm.
he'll probably keep a running commentary going on his journey.
ok he's up. he has unleashed the chickens. he has changed the bedding on the bed. he has made sure he has his house keys and cash etc.).
ok it's 11.35 and he is leaving a rainy newport. the route via newport is more expensive (but takes less time). he has been lucky with his connections so far. the journey takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes (newport to paddington) so he should be in paddington by 13.20 which means he should be round howard's about one hour after that.
