last night with mike H horsemouth was more sensible than he usually is and so is not too badly damaged this morning.
he went over for a farewell meeting with colin. truly it was colin's support in the communal endeavour that enabled horsemouth to get things done and to play at the top of his game. horsemouth has commented before of his leaving that it was 'emotional' and so it is.
horsemouth has spent 40 odd years in this pleasantly messy town he will miss it terribly.
his plan is to walk the clothes rail round to TG's and then have a brief wander to keep his mind and body occupied.
yesterday morning up 8am after a good night's sleep.
fiddling about until TG arrived then they took the two raised shelves (horsemouth could point them out to you on a picture) and the larger curved end shelves round to T's using the trolley. they pause several times on the way. later TG came back and picked up the folding shelves (that just left the clothes rail).
in the afternoon (after baked beans on toast restitution) horsemouth went for a wander up the canal towards the anchor and hope and then back round via a street he used to live in. (broadly counterclockwise).
p.s. horsemouth got called 'uncle' by a dude in a shop - so he's starting to look his age (clearly).
