as usual (after the night before) horsemouth was slow the next day (or at least so he explained to howard).
first horsemouth was waiting in for his brother, who duly arrived with his car and roofbox and took away a load of horsemouth's books (not as many as horsemouth would have hoped for but still a respectable quantity.
there had been a plan to go out to the demo in town (but both of them were feeling too knackered by the heat). he brought chocolate and almond croissants to howard's and then they discussed things and even played each other some recent things.
here we see horsemouth in the four of guitars - three guitars have their faces turned to the wall only the trusty fender remains playing.
they then adjourned to the pub with pizza for pizza er. and beer (this was probably where they made their biggest mistake). after a while (despite the heat) they were feeling a lot better (of course this relief was only temporary).
howard may be writing more about millstone grit (but of course you haven't read his first letter yet). he has bought another copy of it (to replace horsemouth's copy). you can see it on the floor next to horsemouth.
sadly after this horsemouth wasn't fit to respond positively to a suggestion of going out
horsemouth made it home and had a cold shower (with much cursing) which did him a lot of good.
today (the good old sunday) a day of rest for the curmudgeon. horsemouth is going to get out for a quick wander round before it gets too hot.
